Value-Top M.Star Mloong Series M.Star Open-Frame Gaming Case

Value-top M.Star Mloong Series M.Star Open-Frame Gaming Case offers a sleek, modern design with a solid construction made of SPCC steel, ensuring durability and strength. Weighing 7.9 kilograms, it is relatively robust yet manageable, providing a strong foundation for gaming setups. This case is compatible with Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, catering to users with more compact gaming builds without compromising performance. One of the key highlights of this case is its tempered glass front panel, which measures 4.0mm in thickness, giving it a premium look and feel. The internal and external panels are both made of 2.0mm thick SPCC steel, adding to the overall sturdiness and providing excellent protection for the components inside. The half-open frame structure ensures efficient airflow, helping to keep internal temperatures low, which is essential for any gaming rig. In terms of cooling, the M.Star case offers space for two fans at the top, capable of accommodating a 240mm radiator, and one fan at the rear. While the case does not come with pre-installed fans, it supports a total of three 120mm fans, allowing gamers to customize their cooling setup. With a maximum CPU cooler clearance of 164mm and support for graphics cards up to 364mm in length, the case ensures compatibility with high-performance components. For connectivity, the M.Star Mloong case provides a Type-C USB port and a USB 3.0 port, both easily accessible from the top, along with an HD audio jack for seamless audio integration. The lack of USB 2.0 ports reflects a modern approach, prioritizing faster and more versatile connections. The power button is conveniently located at the top for easy access. The interior layout features ample cable management, with designated areas for keeping cables organized and out of sight. It includes one 2.5-inch SSD bay, and the power supply is mounted at the bottom-back with support for an ATX power supply up to 154mm in length. However, one limitation is the absence of support for liquid cooling pipes output, which might deter hardcore liquid-cooling enthusiasts. The case also lacks air filters, so regular cleaning may be required to keep dust levels in check. Overall, the Value-Top M.Star Mloong Series M.Star Open-Frame Gaming Case is a solid choice for gamers seeking a stylish, durable case with adequate cooling support and flexibility for customization, despite a few minor trade-offs.
